Stars is a volunteer, non-profit corporation promoting high quality, competitive basketball. The program includes boys & girls in grades 3-6 in the Beavercreek school district, w/o regards to race, religion or socio-economic status. The program is designed to:
- Develop basketball skills
- Promote sportsmanship
- Enhance individual contribution to the team
- Provide competitive environment for league & tournament play
- Promote fraternal spirit among players & parents
Teams are selected each year, by the coaching staff, after competitive try-outs in October. At the discretion of the coaching staff, teams are comprised of 8-12 players. The regular / all-star season concludes in April.
